Focus and Scope

Journal of Clinical and Health Research (JK-RISK) - RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Province of East Java is an official open-access journal managed by the Research and Education team of Regional General Hospital RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Province of East Java, Indonesia. JK-RISK publishes one volume consisting of three numbers each year published in October, February, and June. JK-RISK will only publish Indonesian language journals. Jurnal Klinik dan Riset Kesehatan - RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Province of East Java publishes scientific writings on research results, case reports, literature reviews in the fields of medicine and health that have never been published in any journal. JK-RISK publication code of ethics statement is a code of ethics statement that involves journal managers, editors, bestari partners and authors in the process of publishing scientific journals. The code of ethics statement is based on the Head of LIPI Regulation Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications which upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which means free from conflicts of interest in the management of journal publications; (ii) Fairness, by providing freedom of authorship rights to authors; and (iii) Honesty, which means free from duplication, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.

Peer Review Process

In the reviewing process, there are at least two reviewers for each manuscript in the related topic. In addition, the author(s) can also propose the candidate of reviewers. Judgment from the first reviewer will be the main priority for the editor to decide if there are only two reviewers. In the case of three reviewers, the decision will be made from at least two reviewers. Three weeks will be needed for the reviewer to complete one round reviewing process.

Generally, the candidate of reviewers will be chosen based on their reputation in the international publication number and quality. Next step, The Editor sends the invitation letter for each candidate of the reviewer. After the candidate of the reviewer informed their availabilities for the reviewing process, the Editor creates an account for each reviewer and then send the manuscript by OJS.

All reviewing process are in blind peer review and managed by editor in the OJS.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism

All manuscripts must be free from plagiairsm contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using Turnitin software. The manuscript of less than 20% will be processed further.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Repository Policy

The journal allows free access to its contents and permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.
